In the video three replicas of ancient venus figures are destroyed. This work aims at articulating the female experience, autonomy, and the historic struggle to rectify mistreatment and inequality. In this context the venus is an ancient relic that documents a comparative value system for the female body. The actor or "modern woman" breaks these figures as a means to dismantle mans first institution imposed on women.
